Chapter 42

Rick asks Storm, "what happened? Are you leaving?". Storm nods, back at Trent's penthouse he was speaking with Callie who was adamant to find out about her family, Callie says, "Trent I just want closure". Trent hugs Callie and assures her he will sort things out; Callie gets a call from Hazel; Trent says, "I am missing your sweet doughnuts and Frappuccino". Callie says, "I can bring you some for the bakery". Trent pulls her closer, brings her to the kitchen as Callie bakes while Trent romances her as she finishes decorating; Trent says, "we could enjoy these in my hot tub". Callie was stunned and asks, "Mr. Reeves are you trying to seduce me?".

Trent says, "we could do skinny-dipping." Callie felt turned on as she smirked and blushes; a few hours later and Callie comes out as she grabs a towel, changes, and says, "I'd better get to the bakery or Hazel will get worried". Later that evening Storm was in his apartment waiting for his Uber as a knock on the door surprised him; Oliver comes in and says, "I can't believe you are doing this bro". Storm rolls his eyes as Oliver apologizes and says, "I care for you and I'm sorry for arguing yesterday, I was drunk, and I said inconsiderate things". Storm says, "I don't care if the entire world judges me, but I am your brother and I thought you had my back." Oliver thanks Storm for bringing Hazel while Storm asks, "are you back together?". Oliver replies, “baby steps." Storm and Oliver laugh as Oliver says, "do you have to leave?". Storm says, “I am sure a new surrounding will heal all my wounds and make me forget about Callie". Oliver hugs Storm who gets a notification that his Uber has arrived. Trent was in his office as he called Liam over; Trent says, "I have a plan to make sure Callie never finds the truth about her family."

As Trent tells Liam about the warden and a secret plan; Liam is doubtful and says, "Boss are you sure you don't want to tell Callie the truth?". Trent gives a cold stare to Liam and says, "I would rather die than her leaving me. I am her family, and I will protect her." Liam sighs and says, "a few days ago the prime minister welcomed Callie to her home in Italy?". Trent sighs and says, "let's just focus on dealing with the warden". Liam asks, "Boss should I prepare the jet?". Trent replies, "we are going on a train." Liam goes and arranges the ticket; meanwhile Hazel is dealing with the last customers as Callie comes in and Hazel says, "now you have finally come; business was busy today". Hazel and Callie talk in the office; Hazel says, "Oliver and I are giving our relationship a second chance. I might have misunderstood Holden." Callie did not know how to feel when Storm was mentioned however Callie asks, "did you tell Holden about me and Trent?".
